While Acupuncture is deservedly well known for its treatment of such conditions as arthritis, back pain and migraines, a far wider range of complaints can also be helped, such as infectious diseases, menstrual disorders, respiratory ailments, depression and hormonal disturbances.

It is important to realise that Acupuncture is an holistic medicine, treating the whole person rather than the disease and attempts to work with the cause of the problem as well as the symptoms.

Thus, dietary advice, for example, may play a part in the treatment.

Acupuncture has a detailed diagnostic system and can thus be used as a preventative medicine, correcting imbalances in their early stages.
